FPT Software AI Residency
FPT Software AI Residency is a two-year training program to incubate and develop young talent in artificial intelligence research and machine learning. In this program, participants are trained under the guidance of world-class mentors and scientists from all over the world, and practiced in a modern and creative environment. The partnership between FPT and Mila - a top world research institute in artificial intelligence will offer residents a world-class training environment as well as make a turning point in their career.
MILA Institute
Founded in 1993 by Professor Yoshua Bengio of the Université de Montréal, Mila is a research institute in artificial intelligence which rallies 500 researchers specializing in the field of machine learning. Based in Montreal, Mila’s mission is to be a global pole for scientific advances that inspires innovation and the development of AI for the benefit of all. MILA is recognized globally for its significant contributions to the field of machine learning, Mila has distinguished itself in the areas of language modeling, machine translation, object recognition and generative models.

Frequently ask questions
1. Will I be paid and receive benefits during the AI Residency?
Yes. AI Residents are compensated with a competitive fixed package of $13,000 annually and are eligible for benefits as a full-time employee at FPT Software, including FPT Care.
2. Is this a part-time program?
No. The AI Residency is only offered as a full-time position. It is not possible to combine this with university study or another paid job. However, students who nearly complete your studies are welcome to apply.
3. How long is the FPT Software AI Residency program?
24 months
4. Can I do the Residency remotely?
No, AI Residents will be expected to work on-site at our office: FPT Tower (Hanoi) & F-Town3 (HCMC)
5. What options will be open to me at the end of the program?
The AI Residency provides excellent preparation for applying to top graduate programs in machine learning. AI Residents are also encouraged to interview for Engineer positions at FPT Software after completing the program.
6. Is there a fee associated with this program?
There are no fees to participate in the program.
